So Elon Musk buys Twitter and a certain portion of the population claims that the world is now of fire. Those people belong to the population that needs to be told what direction to go. You must realize that this works for both the left and the right sides, right?
Having a sense of belonging is a very dominant human trait and, apart from opposable thumbs, is responsible for the rise of homo sapiens; we are a social species. That innate trait is what is being exploited by the social media companies and the algorithms that do their bidding.
Mostly, they want you to join their tribe and stay there. Look!!! Ad revenue and a vehicle to generate it. Just take our word for it that you are in the right tribe and everyone else has some DSM category of undiagnosed mental disorder. It’s money in the bank.
Thinking is hard. Take the hammer that you already have and remove the nail in your foot. Take the middle ground by thinking for yourself.
